Each call is answered directly by a Registered Nurse who will perform a triage service to assess the condition of the patient and make appropriate levels of recommendations for care. The nurse will also provide a Provider Service Notification as needed, which is a referral into care to the most appropriate provider available. The notification alerts the provider of the patient intended visit and provides useful information to properly process the medical claim to minimize the out-of-pocket expenses to the insured parties.
